When I found this birdcage it had bright red roses and lacked luster. I gave it a fresh coat of ivory paint to brighten it up, then painted all of the red roses pink. Some were given an aurora borealis rhinestone center for a bit of sparkle. Once dry, I simply placed a white paper doily and a cream colored jar candle within the cage, and the results were stunning.
