Functional items don’t have to be unattractive. I like to take ordinary items and transform them into something pretty. These clothespins started out as the basic, unadorned wooden variety purchased from a discount store. I gave them a coat of pink paint, glued some pretty vintage trim onto the tops of each one, then finished them off by gluing on a tiny paper forget me not flower and an aurora borealis rhinestone. I also added magnetic discs to the back so they can function on the fridge as well. They’re perfect for holding little notes, photographs or vintage postcards.
